Dr. Shailesh Puntambekar to be the Key Speaker at Conference on Instrumentation and Robotics for Surgery in India
Union Minister for Science and Technology Vilasrao Deshmukh will be in the city tomorrow to take part in a two-day conference on the use of robotics in surgeries. The conference has been organized by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, Persistent Systems and Precision Automation and Robotics India Ltd (PARI) for the promotion of research in instrumentation and robotics for surgery. The conference is being held at Persistent Systems auditorium on Senapati Bapat Road.
The host of this conference Dr. Anand Deshpande, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems, said, "We are delighted to host this unique and progressive conference that aims to promote research in instrumentation and robotics for surgery in India.
